New Orleans Coffee Company was formed by a New Orleans Pharmacist whose quest for a smooth cup of coffee turned up empty. Philip McCrory was able to repurpose the 150 year old cold filtration process to produce the ultimate smooth cup that a consumer can quickly prepare at home. "My goal was to create a great-tasting, fresh cup of coffee that could be prepared in an instant without any bitterness." The Company's original offices were solar powered; stainless steel barrels were converted into coffee extractors.
