Erin Rose is a popular Irish pub located on Conti Street. It may seem a little small for a bar, but once you enter you will realize that there exists a front bar and a back bar, not to mention the kitchen which offers some casual bar food. The dimly lit wooden interiors exude a cozy and comfy charm, where one can sit back and enjoy a drink. It also features a jukebox that adds to the vintage nostalgia. Do try the Frozen Irish Coffee. Erin Rose Merchandise like hoodies and tees are also available at decent prices.

tripadvisorThey now have a very rude employee at the door that forces 80 year olds to show an id before entry. Then he said where is expiration date on my driver's license. What a moron. I've been going there for over 20 years but never again.
MoreFinally got the chance to hit up Erin Rose and it was a blast. This is not a fancy bar, it is a dive bar and it is very good at being a dive bar. It has the Irish pub feel to it, but it also has half a mannequin torso mounted up on the wall with strategically painted shamrocks. Bouncer had a great attitude but was also not to be messed with. This is the place locals come and service people when they get off shift. The people watching was excellent. The booze was very reasonably priced, especially for being in the Quarter. I was texting friends that they need to come with me next time as this place is where we belong. Learned a lot about local music and the different bartenders vibes from the people around me. Happily sat there for a good 2 hours instead of moving on. I WILL be back next time I am in NOLA.
MoreWow, 44 and refused entry, bring your ID! Even if you’re obviously over 21! Just flew in from Dublin and bouncer refused entry on a Sunday! Disappointed - only bar asking for it on the bourbon strip! Been all over the world and never been asked for ID. Wouldn’t take a photo of it either. Guess they have a problem, but seriously.. this is too strict
