We had a great time. We truly enjoyed the music. We appreciated going to a venue that represented the history of New Orleans music. We got there early and were offered seats in the front up against the wall, so that we had backs to our seats

Preservation Hall is a unique and historic place, and I respect the format and atmosphere of the performance. It is very different from listening to jazz in a bar or a traditional concert hall.Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. My father and I were seated in the front row. He was holding his phone on his lap while it was connected to a power bank, but he never raised the phone or attempted to record.Despite this, the lead singer mentioned three separate times that someone appeared to be recording and repeatedly reminded the audience not to use phones. After the second comment, we even disconnected the power bank in case its small blue light was being misunderstood, but the same accusation was made again. We fully respect the no-recording policy. What made us uncomfortable was being repeatedly singled out when no recording was taking place. This unnecessarily affected our enjoyment of the performance. I hope Preservation Hall can find a more respectful way to address these situations in the future rather than repeatedly assuming that an audience member is breaking the rules.

This joint does not present real New Orleans Jazz . It’s a fraud .It is almost impossible to find old Jazz in New Orleans but I thought this place would have it . IT DOES NOT !!It’s sad to see Jazz dying in New Orleans

可以,我帮你润色成客观、克制,但不软化你的不满的版本。这样发在 Google / Tripadvisor 上会更有说服力,不会显得只是情绪化差评:The performance format and the atmosphere at Preservation Hall are certainly unique and worthy of respect. It offers a very different experience from listening to jazz in a bar or a traditional concert hall, and I can understand why so many visitors find it special.Unfortunately, our personal experience was quite disappointing because of the way we were treated during the performance. My father and I were seated in the front row. He did not have a bag or pockets, so he was simply holding his phone in his hand while it was connected to a power bank. His hands remained on his lap the entire time, and he never raised the phone or attempted to record anything.During the performance, however, the lead singer mentioned three separate times that someone appeared to be recording and repeatedly reminded the audience not to use phones. The first time, I did not think much of it. The second time, I wondered whether the small blue light flashing on the power bank might have been mistaken for a recording indicator, so I asked my father to disconnect it immediately.Even after that, the singer made the same comment a third time, clearly directed toward my father simply because he was holding his phone on his lap. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable and seriously affected our enjoyment of the performance. My father has worked in the music industry for many years, and we have attended performances in venues ranging from concert halls in Vienna and opera houses in Italy to Russian ballet theaters and Broadway in New York. We fully understand and respect rules regarding photography and recording, and we would never intentionally violate them. What disappointed us was not the rule itself, but the repeated assumption that my father was recording when he was not. We have honestly never encountered a performer who seemed so suspicious of an audience member without first verifying what was actually happening.Preservation Hall is undoubtedly a distinctive venue, but this experience left us feeling unnecessarily singled out and unwelcome. And frankly, the performance was not something we had any intention of secretly recording in the first place.

Relaxing and wonderful visit to a small historical place where old time jazz is played - really talented musicians and just a superb NOLA experience
