Enjoyed the room, service , food. The outdoor area was a nice place to relax. Would be happy to stay again if back in Lafayette.

We found much about this B&B mediocre. Though our bed was comfortable, our room was small, poorly appointed; lacked charm. TV reception on its own was very ‘snowy’ but we were able to connect our IPad to stream. No fridge in room but we could use fridge in main house kitchen. Breakfast, though hot, was underwhelming.

Lovely home, exceeded only by the warm hospitality from Sal and Todd. They quickly became more than our hosts; they became our friends. Our room was very comfortable except that the thermostat was located in an adjacent hallway, meaning we had to play with the hallway thermostat 'til we got our room temp to our liking. Management is aware and working toward a solution. Excellent breakfast before departure helped us leave with a full tummy and a grateful heart.

A beautiful home but not well-maintained. It is not a pleasant location, being on a very busy street with frequent heavy traffic and noise. The biggest downside is the owner does not reside there. There's not even a full-time manager on the premises. T'Frere's makes sure there is someone there to greet you when you check in, and someone there to cook a breakfast in the morning but, that's it. For most of our stay, the place was empty with us being the only ones there. Not one person available to help suggest places to see or where to eat. True, we were assured help was only a phone call away, but that is not conducive to the homey feel we love and expect in a B&B. If you are bothered by staying in an empty house, in a strange location, you may want to reconsider. I honestly dislike leaving such a review, but we were disappointed.

Great location, good service from Todd and a fun visit with Sal the owner. Comfortable rooms and The Suite is the way to go for couples.
