This vintage thrift store on three floors is a great place to find decorative objects and accessories. There is a nice collection of mid-century furniture, and a small warehouse worth of vintage books, art, and records. The second floor is home to Vintage and Southern Swank, where vintage clothing is found. Overall, the shop is over 10,000 square feet (929 square meters) of mid-century and funk.

tripadvisorFather and Son Antiques moved to this new location sometime around the end of 2017. It's much smaller and doesn't offer as much as their larger, old location did. If you are looking for vintage clothes or mid-century modern furniture/items, you will love this new place because that's about all it offers. If you are looking for antique or vintage collectibles, you probably won't find any here. I was disappointed to see how much it's changed but I have to admit, they had great mid-century items and tons of vintage clothes. That's just not what we were looking for.
MoreMostly mid-century items- not really my taste. Wasn't what I expected based upon word of mouth. Big bottleneck when you walked in the door. Staff was friendly.
MoreThis place is amazing! They always have a great selection of fun finds and unique pieces. I always find something special. I have shopped here for years and have only had great experiences. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I can't wait to go back. This place and these people are Awesome! So glad they are here.
MoreMy teenage daughter and I love antique stores, and she has recently become interested in mid-century modern decor, so we thought we would give this place a try. We had to walk through a construction zone and deal with grown men calling out to my 15 year old daughter just to get to the store. We were disappointed to find that the place is quite small in comparison to other antique stores we have visited, and a third of the store is used, yard sale quality apparel that someone has ridiculously overpriced. The furniture, too, although cool, was ridiculously over priced. We recently bought a gorgeous, walnut framed, mid century modern sofa from an antique store in Greensboro. We paid $350 for it. At this store, the same thing probably would have been priced at $2,000. There was a lovely chair there for $3,600! So, for us, it was totally not worth the time and the walk through the construction zone.
MoreSeveral items I was interested in were over priced. And a NC t-shirt from the 90s shouldn't be $20. There were some interesting pieces and if you're into vinyl a pretty nice collection to leaf through. Cool old building that they're allowing to deteriorate...I get that it's vintage but you could do a little to keep the building from crumbling to ruins.
