My first trip to Baton Rouge was a “Girls Trip” in 2023. I definitely enjoyed the vibes then.It was a no brainer when I saw Anthony Hamilton was coming to Baton Rouge.I enjoyed the concert. The parking lot was adjacent to the center. The venue seats are uncomfortable and does not have enough leg room. But, it was worth the Pain!

Stay away! Food poisoning....not-to-temp, mystery-meat burgers and very unwelcoming staff; Raising Cane food staff begging for cash tips while serving up food that neither pregnant women nor little children should ingest. Where are the food inspectors for Baton Rouge? The staff that should greet everyone at the door are there to search you and determine that your fanny pack is 1/8th inch too long ---- she called it my purse...!!!. The air conditioning at this ongoing five-month event was so good, spectators had quilts and were falling asleep (hypothermia?). If future USBC Open Championship meets are held in Baton Rouge, THIS family will pass..........vote with your dollar by not spending it in this area!

My wife & I attended a late season Sunday afternoon Baton Rouge Zydeco minor pro hockey game @ the River Center Arena. I was able to pre-book a parking spot for under $10 on a lot two blocks northeast of the Center complex, and we had no problems getting in & out. Facility entry security checks took less time than walking from the River Center entry doors to the Arena entrance (passing through the convention center lobby space). The arena concourse has a clean uncluttered design, with easy to access seating & concessions & restrooms. Arena staff were friendly & welcoming. Arena seating sections in the lower tier have very good legroom, and the seats are average for comfort. Our sightlines of the ice surface were pretty good. The local fans were very supportive & engaged in game. We enjoyed our visit & would return for more hockey.

Nothing good to say about this place. Everything is broken. Staff is rude and unhelpful. All around bad experience. Despite being cashless you still need cash for some things.

No graduation should be held in this place!! 1. Traffic is bottle necked at every turn you cannot get here early enough to miss the traffic2. Parking is atrocious a. Parking garage backs up traffic, which causes the traffic bottle neck condition b. On the other hand the walk to near by parking can be arduous and dangerous at night3. No set aside seating for grandparents or not enough area for wheel chairs4. The speaker system is the worst I have ever heard. 5 Even the Marivich Center provides all that this River center cannot. No wonder Baton Rouge cannot draw any outside entertainment, because it cannot even accommodate a high school graduation!!Pitiful Pitiful!!!
