tripadvisortraveling through Lousiana from Oregon is an intimidating experience. We from the west coast think that the east is all crime and gehttos. We were proven so wrong a Caddo Lake pak. OMG we stayed for over a week sitting out cold weather and we were go rewarded with rich, friendly reception at this park. Host Stacy Rogers was exceptioal at her job. She made us feel welcome and part of the Caddo Park family for ever. We've have since moved on into Mississippi and have recommended Caddo Lake park to many travelers we've encountered in our travels.
MoreGreat small campground, restrooms clean, beautiful views of lake, great playground for kids. Quiet and peaceful. Plan on returning often.
MoreGreat launch and location. Large pavilion to get under in case of rain and nice restrooms close to the launch. Did not do too well in the tournament but this place is easy to launch and park. Maybe we will be back for another tournament
MoreGreat place to go with friends or alone. Picnic shelters in designated RV and primitive campsites. It also has a boat ramp with excellent access to Caddo Lake
MoreWorth stopping. Plenty of benches and tables, parking, and a boat ramp. A neat way to see the Louisiana side of Caddo. Unfortunately the lake levels were at flood stage when we visited, but that just meant the waters edge was closer in. Didn't really affect our enjoyment of the area.
