My husband and I enjoyed about 45 minutes walking in Shreveport Riverview Park on a Tuesday afternoon. There was absolutely no one else at the park. It was like a ghost town. There were three water features/fountains but only one was working. The riverfront and huge roses were awesome. There were art features in the park as well. The park and parking was free. Only one of the restrooms was open. I recommended a trip to this park.

Visited in March for Spring Break and this place was mostly deserted, storm damaged and run-down. The casinos nearby look run-down. I think this place has gone down hill since Oklahoma casinos have gotten more popular. Really sad since this place used to be so nice. They do have a few statues for photo-ops.

if you like the outdoors this is a nice place to get out and take a wall and the casinos right there..

If the weather is right this is a nice walk. The only thing about the river-walk is it doesn't go anywhere. It is a loop. Was hoping to go from one casino to the other.

Was disappointed that a lot of the trail was blocked off and looked like it had been for some time. Didn't feel completely safe on a Sunday morning.
