tripadvisorThe New Harmony Theater, in the Summer, along with USI puts on three professional plays. This year, now playing, is Born Yesterday, then Nunsense, and finally Talley's Folly!'S. This is a small theater and the shows are first class! If your looking for a good time, this is it!
MoreI had a memorable experience at this theatre watching my first biggest liar story telling contest during Kuntsfest. I am not sure what else is performed here but definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area and something is going on.
MoreIf you like live theater, and are tired of seeing the same shows, put on by the same group, in all the larger venues here in the Midwest, the New Harmony Theater, located in the tranquil village of New Harmony is worth your while. The actors are equity actors and the two times we have attended we have enjoyed a really competent and entertaining show. The theater is quite small, and as a result you have a really good seat, no matter where you sit. The smallness, and more relaxed atmosphere of the theater not only gives you really face to face contact with the players, it also seems to enhance the interaction between the actors and the audience. There are only a few more shows left this season, so I urge you to make the effort to see some top notch theater, in a really great format.
