We took a group of seniors to visit. It was a lovely day and the grounds of the Rose Center are amazing with lots of flowers, sculptures and history to discover. There are plenty of places to sit along the various paths that contain hundreds of varieties of roses, herbs and other flowers. It is a magical and spiritual place.

so I am writing (wrote as I ma posting this in the days after) this on the night of my wedding. I highly advise no one use this facility for their wedding in the future. although our ceremony was wonderful and beautiful and we had such a good time the event coordinator and entirety of the rest of the staff have been the most unwelcoming, unhelpful, and unprofessional groups of people to work with. you can tell that they are money hungry. I am typing this out as we are using the extra hour we had to pay for to tear down every aspect of our wedding including multiple chairs outside that they will not allow us to use their golf cart for or get our vehicles as close as possible. it's so unfortunate that this facility has such poor management

My husband and I visited the rose garden and thought it was wonderful. Very peaceful and beautiful. Plenty of roses were bloomed out in the 1st week of April.

Visited the Rose Center while in Shreveport. Roses were not in bloom, but grounds were very serene and the grounds were well kept. Rose chapel was beautiful.

I haven't been to the Gardens in over a decade. They were in decent shape then. This time they have changed considerably. They took out trees to open up garden, added many more gardens, and it was a pleasant place to walk around. Well worth seeing if in area. Christmas in Roseland looks awesome in the photos I have seen.
