We were in here briefly to buy some things and noted that it's just a mall like so many others with the same stores. Nothing special.

Another shopping mall, much like all the others, no better no worse. So come here to buy stuff and that is about it.

I’ll start by saying I’m a father of 4 kids that has been to this mall half a dozen times. Every time I’ve gone to any of the stores at the mall I have been greeted with smiling faces and had decent customer service. There is a little for everyone at this mall to include the bored stay at home parent. There is a comic book shop for everyone’s inner kid/nerd, clothing galore ranging from kids to adults, a art gallery, GameStop and a decent food court. I get it, malls are a dying breed but this mall is at least trying to keep the experience alive. Could the Macy’s and Sears stand to get updated carpeting and maintenance? Sure do, but it doesn’t really take away from the atmosphere of the place. For those parents with smaller kids, there is a play area next to the sears and dental clinic on the first floor with a little play area and a cheap rubber ducky game. Your kid will have fun and walk away with a souvenir. If you’re cheap, just go to the Disney store and pretend like you really love Disney and are eventually going to buy something, they have a play area with new toys switched in based on the season. For everyone shaking their cane at all the “hordes of kids”, just go to Ridgmar if you are trying to power walk your calories and arthritis away.

Main department stores are good but the other in the mall are just run of the mill. There are not major small stores that sell interesting goods.

got to be some better place to shop. too many herds of kids. hate going in there, only place worse is ridgmar.
