If you are lucky enough to be greeted by Auston at the front desk, be assured you will be pleasantly surprised! He was attentive, kind, and truly knows how to listen. In just a few minutes, I felt so well taken care of. Later in the day, my daughter was visiting and we needed some help with something and he immediately helped resolve the issue. Thank you Auston, you are a true gem!

The hotel is dated, worn, and in need of significant refurbishment. Unfortunately, the condition of the property is matched by disappointing customer service. The front desk staff came across as disgruntled and unwelcoming, making the overall experience even more frustrating.Even more concerning was the manager’s approach to guest feedback. Soliciting positive reviews in exchange for room upgrades, while telling guests the hotel is in a “red zone” and pleading for understanding when service falls short, is highly unprofessional. Sam, your guests should not be made to feel responsible for the hotel’s circumstances or pressured to overlook deficiencies in service.Overall, the experience reflected a lack of professionalism, consistency, and experienced management. There is a clear need for improvements in both the physical condition of the hotel and the quality of its guest service. Unfortunately, this stay fell well below expectations.

From the moment I approach the Renaissance Seattle Hotel I am warmly greeted by the valet, concierge & the front desk staff. I am surrounded by a light fragrance & soft music. The Director of Rooms, Sam Makkiya, sets the example of treating guests wonderfully. This is the only hotel I stay at in Seattle & one of the very best Marriott properties in the US. I stay there about once a month. The location is perfect for shopping & attending events in the Seattle area. I love the Club Lounge, Fig & Judge Restaurant. & Cocktail Lounge. The food & staff are excellent. I always spend time in the Fitness Center which is very well equipped. The entire hotel is extremely clean which matters to me as a retired Registered Nurse. The housekeeping staff is excellent. I have attended events in the Ballroom which were set up perfectly. Thank you Mr. Makkiya & all of the staff.

As a cabin crew member, I really appreciate the way Jenneth conducts the hotel briefing. She is absolutely amazing, professional, welcoming, and engaging. She knows exactly how to capture everyone’s attention and delivers all the important information in such a clear and friendly manner. Her positive energy and genuine approach make the whole experience so much better, especially after a long flight. It’s always a pleasure to be welcomed by someone who takes so much pride in what they do. Keep up the amazing work, Jenneth! ⭐

We stay here every year and finally this is our last straw after giving this place several chances. The elevators are always broken (three years in a row now, several out of order so when this is a full hotel it’s a mess). The bar is a disaster, angry employees who call last call early then yell at you when you approach to order (last year they just closed and said they were short staffed). And now WiFi is not free for bonvoy members? they tell you to pay then you have to go to the counter and ask them to reimburse. This hotel is an absolute mess. We are titanium bonvoy members, to let you know we are experienced in how it should be.
