tripadvisorOK - It is really hard to find nice. clean hotels at a reasonable price sometimes. Well, this place is hard to fathom. You get a fancy place for UNDER $100! It was modern, clean, and fancy. It was quiet and had a great selection of food at breakfast.
MoreThis was once a LaQuinta and recently turned over to a Choice hotel. Despite the change in name, that was about it, as everything was average to sub-par. I expect more from the Choice brand, and I was let down. First of all, they could benefit from rotating the mattresses. Upon laying down, I realized my feet were going to be higher than my head. I literally slept across the mattress just so I could feel level. For the most part, everything about the room was very nice and up to standard. The bathroom, not so much. See the picture and this is what the ceiling was. A very weak attempt to do whatever was trying to be done. And then the next day's breakfast offering was horrible. Everything was lukewarm at best. The sausage was over cooked and crusty, the bacon was microwave bacon, and the eggs were watery. On top of that, the orange juice machine was broke. Maybe it was just my luck, but this was a tough stay.
MoreFirst room, 312 smelled terrible of urine.Room 318's ceiling paint was coming off and buckled from water exposure.Marijuana was smelled throughout the hallways.Breakfast was mediocre at best. There were drug deals occurring in parking lot. No security to be seen.A homeless woman was stealing people's waffles that they were making. She also packed lots of food to take back to her homeless camp beside the hotel.I would not stay here again.
MoreI save 5 stars for luxury places. This was just a place to stay for a few hours on a roadtrip. It was a good stay with comfortable rooms and bedding. It was nothing fancy but certainly adequate. They had a diverse breakfast choices including hot food. It was good..
MoreFacility with great potential yet abandoned to a lack of management and quality, depending in cheap unqualified labor to keep up a large hotel. Beds are full off bugs (bed bugs), sheets and pillows are not replaced daily, pillows smell bad, clearly no professional cleaning, no inspection and renovations are done by cheap labor, trying to paint over dirty and grease or hide the disgrace with irresponsible works. The prototype of a once great hotel, now a growing nest of disgraces
