Loved it! I'm a big fan of pottery and the variety and quality is excellent. Go early in the day so you can catch the live demo and perhaps get a tour of the larger warehouse and kiln area. You can watch for just a few minutes or for a longer period of time as they throw and shape their creations.

I was in Hot Springs for a Girls Weekend. One of our stops on our itinerary was Dryden Pottery. We so enjoyed our visit!!!Zack and his wonderful wife were so welcoming and informative. Zack took us back to his pottery wheel and showed us how he makes the pottery with homemade clay. He actually let one of us (the brave one) try forming pottery on his wheel. It was really interesting. We also saw the kiln room and the pottery drying. It was fascinating. My mom has enjoyed her Dryden coffee mugs for years (they are likely 40+ years old), and finally, I was able to see Dryden for myself. We all took home a special piece that we can enjoy daily! Loved it!

We met Zack Dryden, very friendly and gave us a great education on pottery. He is the 4th generation as I recall and worth stopping in here, they have beautiful things.

Beautiful pottery of local artists. Very beautiful place to stop in and see artists at work and get something beautiful to take home.

A visit to Dryden for us included only a stop in their large showroom. On a Saturday we saw no one making the pottery. There are some nice pieces, and the prices are responsible. You may want to stop here after hiking on the West mountains trails.
