tripadvisorFrom the moment you walk into the hotel, you realize you are entering a beautifully designed hotel from yesteryear. It reminds me of the Willard, with its antiques and welcoming team. My suite is adorned with antiques, plenty of sitting room, a work desk and more. The king bed gave me an enjoyable night’s sleep. Located conveniently in downtown Little Rock and only 15 minutes from the airport, it is perfect if you are looking for luxury and convenience.
MoreI'm from NYC and travel quite a bit and this is the most beautiful and pleasant hotel I've ever been to. My wife always tells me I find something to complain about and there was not a thing I could. I jokingly told Stephen, the first person you will meet when you check in, that my only complaint was that there weren't any of their wonderful pecans for sale in the room and he handed me a little can of them. If you're going to Little Rock don't even consider booking one of the luxury chain hotels, this is an experience you will never forget.
MoreThis was the nicest and most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. I have traveled extensively in the US and to a lesser extent worldwide. This place took me completely by surprise in the best possible way. It is stunning! Additionally, the service was phenomenal. I know my room was reset and cleaned at least twice/day during my stay, but I never saw a person. It was like magic. The doorman and the concierge were friendly and helpful. I hope I have the opportunity to return
MoreVery comfortable stay Large beautiful lobby. Check in & valet were smooth & friendly. Room was large & quiet. Bed very comfortable. Downstairs restaurant had limited selection but food was solid. Largest elevator we have ever seen in a hotel!
MoreMy husband and I flew into Little Rock to kick off a Blues & BBQ tour and booked the Capital Hotel for just one night. It is a mere 10 minutes from the Little Rock airport, and is a gorgeous *historic* hotel in the heart of downtown Little Rock. 100% valet parking. It has enormous elevators said to transport Grant's horse when he came to town. This is where it is said was home base for everyone affiliated with both Clinton presidencies and I can see why. The hotel is walkable to several excellent downtown restaurants, as well as the Arkansas River, which has a lovely waterfront park with loads of public art installations (sculpture). We had a king bed, decently sized room and nice bathroom. Our first room was a bit of a miss - walked in to a ladder/HVAC maintenance going on, but a trip to the main desk got us reassigned immediately. Front desk was friendly and advised us the next morning that the Clinton Library was closed due to the government shut-down, so we were thankful to get that info before we planned our day around going there. We did not eat at the restaurant, but it looked nice.Recommend!
