tripadvisorQuicksilver is one of my go to shopping places in Eureka Springs. All the items they sell are made by local artisans and there is always something new to see. I will state on this visit there wasn't as much jewelry on display. I have a few pieces from one artist but I saw nothing on his on this visit. Downstairs they have larger pieces as well as prints and paintings. I did find a new print by an artist I'd purchased pieces from before and the prices are very reasonable.
MoreQuicksilver is always a must stop when in downtown Eureka, especially when it was unseasonably cold and you need to warm up. I visited with my dad, instead of my mom, which made for a slightly different experience. A lot of the artists were the same as usually, with a few of my favorites not on display (probably because it is still the off season). I did notice a few different artists, one who made science based jewelry (rather neat). Always fun, always recommend.
MoreI always love going to Quicksilver since they have such an eclectic array of art objects and jewelry. However, this visit they seemed to have less of a selection and some of the items by artists I like were almost non-existent. The stuff they did have was beautiful, but not my taste. Always an adventure to visit, so go and see what you might like.
MoreThis is the first time we have popped into Quicksilver and had the shop full of other shoppers. I’m happy to see other people enjoying the place, but it made it harder to look at everything. All the same, we perused the jewelry cases and found a bin with some beautiful pen drawings. Downstairs was full of more artwork and garden art. I really wanted to by another bird picture for my parents, but my mother forbade me from getting another one. My mom bought one little item and we had a nice chat with the lady at the register. It was a great time, with lots of great stuff to look at.
MoreIt is almost impossible for me to enter Quicksilver and not buy something. This gallery is a collection of numerous artists and it is all so beautiful. The upstairs is mainly jewelry with a few other item. I did see this gorgeous artwork quality statue up there that should have been in a museum. The downstairs is garden art and prints. I found a couple of bird pun prints that I just had to buy as gifts and my mom found a necklace to buy upstairs. So go and peruse. The man, who I believe is the owner , was super knowledgeable about the artists and was so easy and friendly to talk to, so all around an amazing place to go.
