Great show and a beautiful venue.

This year is the 75th anniversary of Opera in the Ozarks, but it is the first year that the new opera house has been open. Prior to its construction (thanks to the Walton Family Foundation), all performance took place in an outside amphitheater. Anyone who is familiar with NW Arkansas in the summer knows how miserable being outside is during that time. Opera in the Ozarks is a summer program for college music/singing majors to get experience performing operas live. The program has produced many notable singers, including Latonia Moore, Leona Mitchell, and Mark Delavan. It is a delightful program and an inexpensive way to enjoy some opera. They perform three different operas each summer and with the new opera house, they will be able to host events and other performances (fingers crossed). The new opera house is beautiful, spacious and full equipped (including with AC). Could not recommend more.
