Nothing in Little Saigon shows off far-eastern culture more than the Asian Garden Mall. Under the multi-level oriental temple roof, everyone is greeted by four Buddha before entering into this 300-shop mall. Step inside a world of dazzling colors: red and gold lanterns from the high beams, colorful tapestries from the ceiling, Asian paintings on the walls, lively flowers in the planter boxes, and 100 jewelers who offer anything from diamond to jade at great prices (after a round of bargaining). And just like any cultural exploration, food is not to be missed. Asian Garden Mall's food court features authentic Asian street food.

tripadvisorI hadn't been to this Asian Garden Mall for over a decade. Since it was Lunar New Year last week, I flew back to Orange County to celebrate the Lunar New Year party at my friend's house. Asian Garden Mall is a traditional Vietnamese cultural place where people come to buy necessary items for themselves, such as clothing, shoes, jewelry, souvenirs, herbal tea and medicines, and many authentic Vietnamese restaurants. They also have street food at night, where people can try a variety of delicious authentic Vietnamese dishes. This is a place for friends to gather together for social events.
Morewe were in the area with Vietnamese-American friends. We wanted to get a taste of Little Saigon. They brought us here. OK, it's a bit touristy, but it was so much fun! There were so many delicious and tempting food options. The bakeries are not to be missed.
MoreIt is a good place for purchasing! many stores, I went there in May 2022, I was looking for a secondhand old version iPhone like the iPhone 8, Had been to a few stores, Finally, I found a good place, it called Mobil Maxx, and the owner was Vietnamese, very friendly. I bought an iPhone with the latest version, while traveling in the new country, when my Mobile credit was out I did not know where I could get credit, so I had to contact to this owner for help to credit for my iPhone, he right away helped me without any questions for how I would have pay for it. My friend lives nearby, he came to pay 2 weeks later, I would appreciate for his excellent service and helpfulness, I would recommend this place on top.
MoreNot very exciting. Clothing and jewelry stores, with a few eateries thrown in. Walking through takes you about 20 minutes, and unless you know exactly where to go eat at Bolsa Avenue, wandering around in the area does not seem very appealing.
MoreHad a chance to visit Asian Garden Mall, aka Phước Lộc Thọ in Westminster while we were in LA. The mall was relatively small but a great place to explore the Vietnamese culture, from the food, to the jewelry.
