I was calling a few hotels in the area and called the Hampton inn, Dustin greeted me and was very polite, I must have asked what felt like 100 questions and he had the answers to all of them, he even asked us our room preference and what floor we would be most comfortable with, we arrived not shortly after and he had the same demeanor he had on the phone! The rooms were perfect and very comfortable, breakfast was good, I like all the options they had, was surprised to see him in the morning but still greeted us as we just walked in, the young man at check out was very kind as well, I can’t wait to return to this location!

We attend the Indy Car race at World Wide Technologies Raceway. This hotel is about a 10-15 minute drive to the race track. It is not the newest of Hamptons but the staff make a huge difference. The hotel had recently been ‘refreshed’ and you tell in the rooms as well as the public spaces. There is only 1 elevator & it is rather small, but we didn’t have any problems with that. There are fast food & various restaurants within walking distance as well as a Walmart short drive away. Leslie at the front desk was amazing when we checked in. We prefer to stay at Home2 Suites rather than Hampton. There is a Home2 a little further away, but after the excellent staff at this property we will stay here again

We stayed at this Hampton Inn because it’s about 15 minutes from Gateway Arch National Park in St. Louis, MO, and more affordable than the Hampton Inn located next to the park. The biggest advantages were the short drive into St. Louis (late April traffic was light), the excellent steakhouse next door, and the exceptional staff. A special shoutout to Christian, who resolved an issue for us quickly and made sure our stay was pleasant. The hotel also has a nice indoor pool with towels provided, and the breakfast was good—standard Hampton Inn fare. It would have been nice to have water available at the breakfast bar, but when we asked the breakfast attendant, they promptly provided bottled water.Negatives:1. The sliding barn-style bathroom door. This is a corporate design issue—whoever approved it should have to stay in one of these rooms. It lacks privacy, and some of the doors are very difficult to move. We actually changed rooms because of a particularly bad door.2. The mattress was uncomfortable and sloped to one side.

For a Hampton this one was disappointing. We usually stay at another hotel but we thought we'd try the Hampton, not a good idea. Room 214 had no workable or USB outlets on one side of the bed. The nearest on was across the room on the opposite side of the room, too far away, where there were plenty of plugs. We both use CPAPs thus needing plugs on each side of the bed. This is definitely not what I expect from a Hampton. Fortunately, I always carry a long 3 outlet extension cord. I would have rated it a 4 since there was great lighting except in the bathroom, not good for shaving or make up. There were plenty of towels and friendly/helpful check in. The refrigerator was larger than many but no freeze compartment. The carpet could use a cleaning.
