tripadvisorI had a facial scheduled at 3:00 PM, I checked in, I was on time, they charged me, made me wait for 30 minutes, then I asked them what was going on, because my appointment was supposed to be at 3:00PM, and was 3:30 and I was still waiting… then after I asked they told me my aesthetician had a problem and they had to cancel my appointment. Not enough after that I wanted to change the bill, they wanted me to wait in a huge line. I think this is disrespectful and unprofessional to waist people’s time like that. No wonder why Las Vegas is doing so poorly!!!! If they would’ve give me notice just at the moment that I checked in would be fine, but not enough made me wait they even charged for that first! For me that is extortion…
MoreWent to the spa at the Wynn for a massage and it was the best massage I've had. Nothing really to complain about. Only downside was it was a bit difficult to find for someone not staying there, I had to ask a few people in the hotel how to find the spa because it was such a big hotel (that I was unfamiliar with). I had some luggage with me as I'd just checked out of a different hotel and was able to fit it into the lockers no problem.Anyway, nothing to complain about. Would book again if I stopped in Las Vegas again. If you are coming from a different hotel, definitely budget some extra time to find the spa.
MoreTriple miss: 1) they threw out my hotel key in the locker and gave me a keycard that didn’t work so I was locked out of my room and they took 20 minutes to let me in 2) massage itself wasn’t that enjoyable 3) they asked for gratuity before you even start so it makes it harder to adjust for the actual service Despite liking Wynn, I probably wont be returning here
MoreThe spa at the Wynn is very nice. I have been here before, this time I only had my hair washed, blow dried and styled. It’s a very elegant spa, with lots of chandeliers and lights. They bring you a glass of champagne, which was nice. The air and heat in Vegas makes my hair impossible, so went to the salon. The girl was really good took her time and did a good job, well worth the $125, that I would have spent in the casino. Definitely recommend either getting a massage or at least your hair done or both while visiting the Wynn Hotel Vegas.
MoreWe were charged $860 for services we never received, never got a confirmation, and were treated horribly by management.I am not someone who writes bad reviews or tries to escalate situations. I’m an easygoing, reasonable person who understands mistakes happen. But what happened at the Wynn spa was beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable.Three of my friends and I — all moms who rarely get time away — planned a one-night Vegas trip and booked massages for Saturday afternoon. My friend called the Wynn spa directly to schedule all four of us for 1 p.m. Saturday. We arrived excited for our day, only to be told our appointment was booked for Thursday — a day we weren’t even in Las Vegas. The front desk staff seemed surprised but were polite; they gave us spa passes while “looking into the phone call.” We assumed it would be sorted out.No one ever came to update us, so after finishing in the spa we went out and asked for a manager. We waited a long time before a manager named Rebecca finally appeared. She admitted she reviewed the call and that we did ask for Saturday, but then vaguely said “something happened” and somehow our booking ended up on Thursday. She couldn’t clearly explain what went wrong, wouldn’t let us listen to the call, and incorrectly claimed we booked online (we didn’t — we called). We also never got any confirmation email or text; if we had, we would have seen Thursday and corrected it.Despite confirming we asked for Saturday and providing no clear explanation of the error, Rebecca said the best she could do was charge us 50% of the “no-show” fee — $860 — for massages we didn’t get. Her tone was dismissive and unhelpful, and it was obvious she just wanted us to accept the charge and leave. We felt completely taken advantage of. We tried to stay calm and reasonable, but this was an expensive mistake that the spa made, and instead of making it right, they blamed us and still charged us hundreds of dollars. Friends of ours who work in luxury hospitality were stunned; they all said this is not how a five-star spa should treat guests.I am furious that a brand like the Wynn would allow this to happen. If you book here, double-check every single detail, demand written confirmations, and be prepared that if they make a mistake, they may still charge you for it. This was supposed to be a rare, relaxing day with friends — instead we left angry, disappointed, and out $860 for treatments we never received.
