Founded in 1978, FACTOR was initially created as an accounting automation solution for its family-owned sister company, Hess Oil. Over the years, other software automation solutions were developed, giving FACTOR a full suite of enterprise resource planning applications that address the accounting, e-commerce and decision support needs of petroleum marketers and convenience store owners throughout the United States. Now Hess Oil and thousands of other companies utilize the FACTOR system to streamline and improve their daily business operations. FACTOR maintains its headquarters in Oklahoma City.
