I visited Guthrie to see my grandparents about 2 months ago and I thought that Guthrie would be a boring town in the middle of Oklahoma, however it has unique culture and history that I wouldn't know about if it wasn't for the tour lady. The lady, who's name I forgot, gave my group a detailed retelling of 3-4 stories including the Old Hospital, Black Prison and Linda Green, the fat dude who's ghost haunts a store and kicks customers, Royalynn's diner or hotel (I have a hard time remembering) and a brief rundown of boot hill and Elmer McCurdy. She was a great and charismatic guide and kept the tour age appropriate to accommodate to the young kids in the group. All in all I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Guthrie. If you want paranormal stories with history and less gore, than this is the tour for you.

I was very disappointed in the lack of ghost stories. Unfortunately, received more of our host's life story. It lasted 2 hours which would have been fine if we covered more than a single block. She talked so much on the rich history of ghost stories in Guthrie, but didn't actually tell the stories besides a few.

If you are looking for a fun evening of ghost stories this isn't the place. My s/o & I like the paranormal, the stories, & learning a little history is always kind of fun too. The tour guide started us off with lots of hype about lots of paranormal sightings/stories in the town. We maybe heard 3 and they were side notes. We heard a lot about the history of the town which is kind of nice but it was more like she was going on tangents about stuff like her own personal life, frustrations with other townsfolk, the Christmas parade, Zak Baggins, etc. She was so busy talking about almost anything other than the paranormal she forgot to take our payment. We didn't realize until afterwards though it just goes to show how scatterbrained the whole walk was. It started at 7:15 PM & we didn't leave until 10:30 PM when we started walking to our cars because she just kept talking again about anything but the paranormal. We will not be returning to these tours anytime soon.

What a fantastic night of stories and spending a lovely evening strolling through parts of downtown Guthrie. Loved the energy put into these stories. I have mobility issues and could have ridden a scooter but chose to walk. I was never left behind and was included in all the stories (even when I had to sit). Thanks again for a great evening! If you are expecting jump-scares, this is probably not the walk for you. If you are expecting thoughtfully curated stories that cause you to ponder the mystery of what is after this life, this is the walk for you.

I loved how staci personalized the stories. It didnt feel like someone just reciting stories, but more like someone sharing experiences. This is such an interesting town! I cant believe I waited so long to do this and will definitely be back. We have always looked for ghost walks when we travel but just had not got around to taking the one that was in the town next door. We all had a great time!
