Queen Califia’s Magical Circle is unique. This is a whimsical statue garden. You walk in between to comical colorful snakes perched on a long fence. You go either to the right or the left into the garden. The statures are made of many pieces of material with many different characters on them. So many you have to look close to see the many characters. I asked my wife if see had seen the bear cub, she hadn’t so I showed her the cub half up one of the statues. This is a must see and enjoy if you are in the area or make a special trip, it is worth it. Check the times the days that they are open stay the same but the times change so what ever the time get there close to the opening.

This is a cute and very interesting little area within Kit Carson Park. It will take about 30 mins out of your day to explore. The rest of the park is nice as well.

we went Tuesday morning since they are open from 9-12 and the docents were available to talk about the art and how the exhibit came about. The exhibit is protected by locked fencing when docents aren't available. Very unique. Inside Kit Carson Park location.

Beautiful art and photo stop by Niki reminiscent of Gaudi in Barcelona. The docent on site is a wealth of knowledge and brings you totally into the art of that Era.

Tried to visit on a Monday but found the site was not open. Parking is was too remote from the exhibit for me along a dirt path. Write-ups on this activity failed yo provide adequate input to prewarn visitors.
