Cute shops and restaurants. Restrooms available. Not especially handicap accessible. Great idea for using this space.

A wonderful use for an old school instead of tearing it down. Shops are varied and you will find something to catch your eye there. Antiques, new and used books, imports are just a few of the offerings. Great places to eat too. Parking is sketchy but we arrived early and parked just outside the door on the city street. I will go back. Enjoyed the visit.

An eclectic, quaint collection of shops provided some amusement as I waited for my breakfast from the Dewitt Cafe. Found unusual, quirky stuff that made me laugh and made me think. Had to purchase some of the quirky stuff for quirky people back home. A great way to spend some leisure moments.

The stores were fine, but I mostly enjoyed the novelty of spending an afternoon shopping in an old, repurposed high school--you can still see remnants of the building's previous life, like signage leading to the faculty restroom. There's a cool independent bookstore, and an art store that sells items from local Ithaca creators; my favorite was these cool lamps made out of gourds. Dewitt Mall is also home to the Moosewood Restaurant (of the Moosewood Cookbook fame), but I've found the prices too high and the portions too small the few times I've eaten there.

Most of the times I go to Ithaca, I stop at the Dewitt Mall. After all we are vegetarians and Moosewood restaurant offers great plates for us. However, passing by the musical instruments store, I always stop there as well. It is so tempting. They have quite a lot of attractive instruments. Oh well! Last time we were in Ithaca, my wife and I visited the Dewitt Mall completely. There are quite a lot of stores in there: specialty shops, hair dresser, galleries, a hardware store, a bookstore, carpets and clothes Interestingly enough, this building is quite old, 101 years old! It's older than myself! Even though it is that old, it is still attractive with its ivy climbing everywhere. The trees nearby it, makes it gorgeous as well! I felt at home visiting this mall! Quite worthwhile!
