Beware of BED BUGS!!! Booked for 2 nights and only stayed one. After reports of bed bugs from 4 other guests of this hotel I did a thorough search of room 315 and found a live and a dead bed bug - see picture. After my son saw the bed bugs himself there was no way we were staying another night. Turns out it was too late. The bed bugs had got me. See 2nd picture for one of the bites I received. Yes, I received multiple bites and if you are wondering they are itchy.I called the hotel manager on Monday morning and asked for a refund and she said that they had a 3rd party inspecting the room and wouldn't do refunds without corporate's approval. I was informed 2 days later that the company they paid to inspect the rooms didn't find any evidence of bed bugs in any of the 5 rooms that complained. Go figure. I appealed to Legacy Management, their corporate company, and they hired the same company to come back out and issue the same conclusion.I can tell you I didn't take the dead or the live bed bug with me. Either the company they paid gave them the answer they wanted or they actually deep cleaned the rooms, which would have been the first time in a long while. At this point I am reserved to the reality that I won't be receiving my money back. Lesson learned. I urge those reading this to avoid the same fate I suffered.It is clear that this hotel will go to great lengths to avoid doing the right thing for their customers. I'm sure they will post a response that they take cleanliness seriously and they value their customers. I'm still waiting on the report they offered to share with me from the company they paid to give them the information they wanted to get. I wonder if it will be written on MyPlace letterhead.Its your decision if you choose to stay at this hotel, but don't say you weren't warned.

I stayed at the My Place hotel while I was in town to see my son in the hospital. It was clean, and aesthetically appealing. I felt safe. The bed was not the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. But I would stay there again for sure!

My Place was an excellent alternative for a family travelling with a dog. Very comfortable room with all the amenities we needed.

Very clean and quiet. Beds comfortable. Good size bathroom. The dogs enjoyed their stay also. Nice area of town. Close to restaurants.

I want to send a shout out to McKenzie at the front desk on 10/06 around 9pm. We had driver break down and needed a last-minute room. McKenzie was very helpful and made the reservation process super easy. What a great representative for your hotel. Keep up the great work, McKenzie.
