To celebrate their opening in 1991, Susie's South Forty Confections created a Texas Pecan Toffee weighing nearly 3,000 pounds (1360 kilograms) in the shape of the state of Texas, earning them a place in the Guinness World Records. The Texas Pecan Toffee, although smaller in size, still remains one of their most loved items. Susie's is the right place to go to satisfy all your sugar cravings. Their shelves are lined with toffees, fudge, chocolates and goody bags with all kinds of sugary gifts inside. They have two more located in Midland and one more in Odessa. In addition, they offer wholesale purchases and take shipping orders.

Love visiting both of Susie's Midland stores to sample the goodies and bring home an arrangement of chocolates and toffee.
MoreThis was our second trip here with our daughter and special needs grandson. It has promise of very interesting tour. However, their longtime, regular tour guide had recently quit. We were there on a weekday so were the only visitors, which was nice. And the lady who talked to us was informative and very nice. Maybe call before going to find out if/what the activity in the kitchen is like, so you get the best experience. Gift shop has everything and it's hard not to buy too much :)
MoreI love their candies. Their selections are too delicious. If we bring a bag of their Texas trash home, we just keep eating until its gone. Worth a visit.
