Mark White Fine Art is a gallery where visitors can find wind and water sculptures that run on kinetic energy. The elegant sculptures made from copper, steel, verdigris and other materials are bold and colorful as they rotate effortlessly. Needless to say, each design exudes a natural beauty, especially when in motion. The outdoor sculptures are also created with paint that inhibits corrosion and UV light damage, so they can withstand the elements while they decorate your garden or yard. Even if you don't purchase anything, the gallery and garden are worth the visit.

tripadvisorIt took quite a while to get the piece, without any kind of updates regarding delivery estimated times.(until after it shipped) I find that a bit disconcerting when they immediately charge you card for the item several weeks before hand... This is our second wind sculpture from MW, and I believe the packing on this one, which was much heavier than the revolving iris we bought last time, was not as substantial, and I am concerned that a couple of the blades are not quite symmetrical.
MoreWe are so thrilled with our 'Tango' wind sculpture! Though the order took a bit longer to arrive due to COVID-19, any inquiries we sent were always answered promptly. The sculpture is airy looking, but substantial in construction. It moves so gracefully and smoothly.
MoreWe have been buying outdoor kinetic art from Mark White Fine Art on Canyon Road for over a decade. We’re not wealthy—just regular people—who appreciate the bold yet nuanced beauty of Mark’s kinetic art in our yard. Mark’s creations add a beautiful and artistic dimension to our outdoor areas. We look at and enjoy the combination of art and engineering every day. They are elegant design elements that we have incorporated into our landscape design (simply the best design pieces at affordable prices). In fact, we designed a water feature around one of the sculptures. We love our outdoor areas, and one of the reasons is the peaceful, wistful, and elegant kinetic art. We recently returned to Santa Fe and checked out the latest Mark White creations. One of the things we appreciate about the gallery is the friendly, knowledgeable, “no-pressure” staff. This time, we met with Jeremy Hasted. His friendliness and product knowledge made him very easy to work with. He figured out the styles we liked by viewing pictures we shared of our yard and placement of our previous art purchases. He was able to direct us to sculptures that would work well with our current art. We fell in love with a new piece that Mark calls Tango. Since we were there in “off-season” we were able to get a discount, which we really appreciated. We feel that Mark’s pricing is reasonable anyway, but the discount made it easier to make the decision to buy another piece. In summary, from product design, to shopping experience, to pricing, and to staff, this place is the best.
MoreMy favorite of half a dozen Canyon Rd. Galleries visited in this trip.. Fairly priced, contemporary art using a variety of metals and techniques to produce powerful wall art. Outside a fine collection of wind catcher/chaser treatments awaits.
More´Tis a glorious Autumn day with abundant sun and mid- sixties temperatures. Mark White Fine Art is across the street from Carole Laroche Gallery. We find several spinners, 2 Girl Sculptures, 3 Women Sculptures, and a Large Rabbit Sculpture We highly recommend a visit to Mark White Fine Art and at least a day on Canyon Road.
