This museum is wonderfully curated and is a gem within Oklahoma for its exquisite art. Unfortunately, the woman at the front desk was so rude and unwelcoming that I would not not return.

Definitely worth the trip. I was amazed at the variety of time periods as well as the authentic pieces that spanned the centuries.

This was an incredible surprise! Despite having grown up in Oklahoma, I had never heard of this 100-year-old museum. I went last week because they had an impressive display of Dali, my favorite artist. This museum is small but packs a powerful punch. Its single story houses an Egyptian mummy, a Samurai helmet, paintings from the Middle Ages, and Native American art among many other pieces.

This is a reasonably complete art museum, collections from ancient to modern. The museum rarely draws much of a crowd, and the curators are always happy to answer questions.

I still can’t believe I got to see a real mummy! And then real shrunken heads…in Oklahoma! This is a small, but amazing collection. The museum also has a good collection of other Egyptian artifacts. It has a first-class collection of art (paintings, sculpture, and pottery), cultural art and historical artifacts. It is well worth the time and it is free!
