This property seems to get by the bare minimum of maintenance. The blinds in our room were broke and not operable. The Lotion container in the bathroom was empty. In general the property is not maintained well.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. The location was good for us. The hotel and room was clean and comfortable as to be expected with this chain. The staff that I encountered were all friendly and welcoming. The shower had some steam damage that could use some fixing but really not that serious. Overall a good stay and would stay here again.

Do not stay here unless you can get a room on the 4th floor. We were on 3 and the floor above us started creaking at 5:30 am and never stopped. You could hear the people above us walking around, people walking in the hallway, using the stairs, everywhere. The lobby and hallways look great but the room was worn and tired and needs new furniture. I like to stay at Hampton’s but this one was a bad experience.

We were disappointed in this hotel, we expected more from the Hilton brand. It began with Patricia at check in. She informed us that our reservation, State Government rate, would not be honored because we were not Michigan residents. We told her that we have never encountered this at other Hilton/Hampton Inn hotels across the nation. She stated that it is mentioned in the rate details. We pulled the details up and asked her to show this to us, as we could not find it. She refused. Patricia is very unprofessional and needs some training on how to provide proper customer service. We ended up staying the one night we booked for. We went to our room and discovered many housekeeping/maintenance issues- 1.) the carpet had not been vacuumed (food pieces/crumbs on floor) or cleaned leaving the bottoms of our feet black, 2.) shower wall shampoo/conditioner containers were empty, 3.) shower water temp was just about lukewarm, 4.) bed pillows were small and lumpy, and 5.) there was broken furniture, coming apart in some places- would just require some wood glue to repair. We did appreciate the complimentary breakfast. There was plenty of hot and cold food and drink options available. There are restaurants and a grocery close by and they have free parking- which is nice.

Great hotel. Very roomy and comfortable. Breakfast is great, tons of options. Super friendly staff, especially Dawn in the dining area. Great stay overall, I’d stay here again in the future.
