Established in 1985, Flower Mound Elementary School is a learning center that is a part of the Lewisville Independent School District, which has an enrollment of more than 48,500 students in nearly 65 schools. It has a staff of approximately 40 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals who conduct classes in a variety of subjects, such as language arts, reading, math, science, social studies, music, art, and physical and health education. In addition, Flower Mound Elementary School offers classes in the English as a Second Language program, media, special education, Spanish and computer technology. The school maintains poetry, book, gardening, chess, science and art clubs, as well as a student council. Located in Flower Mound, Texas, Flower Mound Elementary School provides educational services to over 630 students in kindergarten through grade five.
