Very impressive venue, especially as it is located in a suburb. Very professional space, loved by the community. But there are a lot of people with money here, so they do support it.

What a great, easy experience. No parking issues. No lines getting in. Everyone can see the performers. Wonderfully small crowd. Hope they bring in some fun entertainers. This place is a hidden gem!

Wow don’t let the old timey historic charm fool you. This downtown Mckinney performing art center features some serious talent!!!! We saw Martin Lucas and were blown away. There are some world class musicians playing here. We have never seen a bad performance. The atmosphere offers a great expression hometown pride clearly displayed by the many volunteers.

We stopped to see the building and look around. We found out that nothing was happening until the weekend.

My boyfriend and I went to the MPAC annual Melodrama, this year is was The Man in the Locket. Booing, hissing, awwing, oohing and throwing popped corn is all expected. The actors did a great job and we thoroughly enjoyed the performance. What a cool, old-fashioned venue for a night full of laughter.
