Nice park but very unkempt. Leaves all over the place and are littering the lake. There duck feces all over the sidewalks as well. Landscapers are not doing their due diligence.

The Northwest park has always been one of my favorite places to go since my early childhood. My friends and I often go to hang out and just enjoy life. All the activities have never failed to entertain my siblings and friends as we enjoy going nearly every week. All the little ducks, geese and turtles are so adorable so always make sure to bring extra food along. There's plenty of tables around to ensure you can have a place to have a party, barbecue, hang out, or simply just relax. There's also a basketball court, volleyball court and tennis court near by as well as a recreational center with restrooms and clean water fountains. And for a hot sunny day there's a splash pad for children to cool off on. The playgrounds include small sections for younger children too to make sure they enjoy their time too, as well as a work out area for adults working hard for those nice swimsuit bodies ;) As you can conclude, the Northwest park of Irving, Texas has many things to ensure children AND adults enjoy their time. There's no doubt in my mind that this park is one of the greatest in Irving.

What I really loved about this park was all the ducks, ducklings, geese, and other birds that surrounded the water. They were so cute to watch. This is a really nice park besides the trash in the water. The walking trail isn't as long as other parks I have been too but it is a beautiful view as you walk. There is also a playground, baskball court, and a spray park for the summer months.

This is a nice little park. It's a great place to get some exercise in and burn some great calories.
