The Miller Park Zoo is an ideal spot to visit, especially if you have children along. The rather small zoo engages visitors in an array of activities like animal rescue, animal adoption, classes for kids volunteer programs, hosting birthday parties and many other events. The zoo houses various local as well as exotic wildlife like tigers, bald eagles, seals, monkeys, kangaroos, frogs, bears, tropical birds, snakes and wolves. They also have a petting area and the volunteers are polite and helpful.

tripadvisorThis is a small zoo, fairly priced. There are no large animals, but they had an aardvark, very amusing otter, Eagle, children’s zoo, plenty of small mammals, snakes, etc. I would allow about an hour or hour and a half. It was a little warm so some of the animals weren’t out and about to view and we’re hiding. The monkeys were really cute. They have a rainforest. They have a small gift shop. Definitely nice for small children.
MoreThis is a small quaint zoo. The systems used seem creepy and felt stalked most of time.Saw one staff in a blue shirt approach is and seems like they were taking pictures of my grandchildren and me without consent This is not necessary for a tiny zoo. It's not Disneyland or Pokemon GoSeems like a IT partnership and data abuses - kinda creepy
MoreThis is not a large zoo, but it is nice. They feature smaller species for the most part. There's a small cafe that was decent and not expensive. I liked the red panda exhibit and the otters. Worth a short detour if you are traveling up to Wisconsin Dells
MoreI took my family here while we were down for Siblings weekend at ISU. I used to come here while I was in college with friends and it was such a nice break from college life. The zoo is on the smaller side, but my husband, college freshman and HS sophomore thought it was great. It was even better than I remember. The lake, the Southern Pacific caboose, nickel plate rail road locomotive and war cannons were interesting to my family. It was a great day.
MoreWe went to the zoo it's small but we had toddlers so they enjoyed it. It's right next to a playground and a splahpad we were going to go to the playground but it started to storm halfway through. It's a nice little zoo to get out of the car at if your traveling with toddlers.
