Reviews
tripadvisorWe stayed here on 9/24-25/26 in room 211. The hotel was easy to find, had lots of parking, is next to a Big Y supermarket and has a number of restaurants a short drive away. The outside and lobby areas looked good. Our check in and out were fine. The room was good sized, clean, quiet and comfortable. There was a built in and regular luggage racks, Having luggage racks for 2 suitcases was very nice. Housekeeping is every other day. The bathroom was good sized with lots of counterspace. The water pressure was OK.The WiFI was good, The breakfast was your typical Hampton offerings and well done. We would stay here again.
MoreStayed one night. The overall appearance and cleanliness of this location was great. The room met our needs and we appreciated the walk in shower. We noticed the entry door had a piece of rubber on the bottom which prevented the hallway light from shining under the door, which kept the room darker- a plus in my opinion. There was also a night light in the bathroom, which is always appreciated. The breakfast was just okay. The waffle makers were non-existent, claimed to be “out of order”, but I was skeptical. I would have liked freshly cut fruit and/or berries, which I have enjoyed at other Hamptons. The oatmeal was very watery, resembling oatmeal soup, so I passed on it.The pool area was spotless and had a few tables with matching chairs as well as a few lounge chairs. The kidney shaped pool water could have been warmer and the pool area was nice and toasty.I would stay here again.
MoreYour typical Hampton but found it to be super clean compared to most. Good location close to highway and shopping. Most restaurants close by are fast food, but there are other full service places a short drive away. Staff was great, super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is normal Hampton fare, but was well maintained. Would defiantly consider another stay here as well as recommending to others.CONS: Had to wait to get my coffee/food due to constant flow of bus drivers getting their free breakfast, (There is a major bus stop at end of lot.) If you are a diamond member, forget the diamond parking spaces. They are all taken by employees of the hotel.TV system is the newer Hilton satellite system with basic channels that goes blue screen every time it rains .
MoreOur family travels a lot (tournaments, out of town family, etc), and we stay at Hampton Inn's all of the time. This is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed at. It is recently remodeled, so that helps, but our room and bathroom were spotless. We usually only stay 1-2 nights at a place so I could care less about the style of decor (modern), or surrounding area (busy stip mall) as some reviews have mentioned. This is a place to sleep, not a scenic resort. It is very clean, fresh, convenient to the highway and has lots of conveniences around (Starbucks and gas next door, grocery in the back). The staff was pleasant and attentive. That is all we need for an overnight when passing through. We will definitely be back!
MoreThis is a very basic Hampton Inn decorated in a sparsely modern style. It is located near the interstate highway and sandwiched in between strip malls, busy 3 lane roads, fast food restaurants and neon sign-lit, macadam parking lots. Lots of them. The physical setting is soulless. Rooms and hallways have minimalist abstract decos. You won't be seeing any ship and harbor landscapes here. Breakfast was the typical Hampton Inn included meal. No surprise there. But what really struck us was the noise transmission from room to room, especially from higher level rooms to the rooms beneath them. We stay in Hampton Inns frequently. This was the worst nights' sleep we have ever had in a Hampton Inn because of the noise from the rooms above us. Were they partying? No. Were they dancing or jumping around? No. Were they playing their TV too loud? No. They were simply walking across their rooms. Their footsteps kept us awake. The sound of them walking around their rooms above us was awfully loud in our room. It even overcame the wax ear plugs that we bring on trips for just such a possibility. Who on earth, plans a hotel to be like this? We would never stay at this hotel again.
