David's Auto Sales started as a rental car company in 1983. Around 1984-1985, David began selling and financing his rental cars to leave room for a new and slightly different business...financing vehicles. In 1994 the business became a "tote the note lot" only. In February of 2004, cash loans were added to the business. David's became the first "tote the note lot" in the State of Texas to obtain a regulated loan license for cash lending. The business has been located at the same address, 307 W. Marshall Ave. Longview, Texas all this time, and the company has been growing steadily ever since.
