We really enjoy the Tyler Civic Theatre. We’ve gone to see multiple plays, and our young Texans have even participated in some. The place is nice, feels quaint-ish, and it’s really neat that it’s a theatre in the round, so every seat feels like you’re right next to the action. It’s not a huge place, so be sure to get advanced tickets for popular shows.

In town for a couple days and glad they had a performance. We got to see a comedy and it was so enjoyable! Loved the theater in the round. No bad seats. Actors were really good. Will have to come back next time in town!

We have attended several plays here and have enjoyed each one. This is like a theater in the round as you can sit on all four sides in the theater. Small concession area available.

Went to a Christmas play and it was awesome. I’ve been many times over the past few years. It is always excellent. Great local talent and a great little theater in the round. New plays about six times a year.

You feel like a part of the action when you watch theatre-in-the-round! This is a unique community theatre - one that is not to be missed of you are in East Texas. For about the same price that you'd spend on tickets and concessions at a movie theater, you can see live local talent at its finest! This theatre is well run and is constantly offering a vast array of entertainment, from child-friendly productions to musicals to more serious dramas for mature audiences. There are two stages: a main one for popular productions and large audiences, and a smaller children's stage for the conservatory students to perform their shows. Support the local arts and check out a show. Check out their website for upcoming productions.
