For my trip to NYC, I got sick the first night and spent 24x7 for the next three days in the hotel. It’s a charming hotel with a wonderfully attentive and caring staff. It’s tastefully designed fitting for a design hotel. That said there were some drawbacks that you should be aware of.• The insulation between the rooms is non-existent. In the middle of the night I woke with a start thinking someone was rolling a suitcase into my room. Only to realize it was in the room above. • There was a storm one night. I awoke to the sound of dripping water, to find the ceiling was leaking and water had been dripping into my opened suitcase.• I went in Sept ’26. They are building a new wing. Construction starts at 7AM and goes all day. Including Saturday. If you’re an early bird it’s manageable but if you were hoping to sleep in, forget it. If you get a room close to the construction, you’re doomed.• There is no restaurant. The breakfast looked like it came from a Costco box. Bagged bagels. Oatmeal packets. Etc. • It’s in Greenpoint, but if you were looking for a hotel near the hip shopping streets, this isn’t your spot. It’s a 20 minute walk to Franklin street. But to reiterate, the staff did everything they could to make the stay memorable, and I truly appreciated their efforts to make the situation better. After the room started leaking, they upgraded us to a better room. And would deliver all the door dash meals to our door. I’m just sorry the old building and new construction let us down.

Recommended if you are staying in Greenpoint, but convenient to other parts of Brooklyn. Staff is courteous and helpful. Chis at the front desk was especially helpful. Many of the rooms are very large, including the one we stayed in which had a separate seating area and full kitchen. The rooms are well appointed, very clean, and well maintained. Rate includes continental breakfast which saves you another $20 - $30 per person. The property itself is on the edge of a warehouse district, but completely safe and only minutes from the main shopping areas. You probably will default to Uber/Lyft for transportation, but subway is within walking distance. Fairly easy access to Manhattan, LaGuardia, and JFK. I would happily stay here again.

Great stay and great neighborhood! Lots of on street parking and quiet. Have stayed here in the past and had a great experience as well. Clean and the staff is friendly. My only gripe with my stay this time around was that we arrived at the hotel at 2pm and checkin wasn't till 3 and even though our room was ready we had to pay an additional 50 dollars for “early checkin”. Also breakfast and coffee is an additional 19 dollars a person which seems a bit expensive for what they offer. I know NYC is getting more expensive nowadays but I felt being a smaller local chain they would accommodate an hour early check in seeing that our room was waiting for us. Just beware to be up charged and common courtesy isn't common here.

Quiet and spacious hotel. A five minute walk to restaurants, and a delicious bakery. Hotel is located in a quiet area off the busy streets. Our room was very clean, spacious, with a queen bed, and a separate sitting area with a sofa sleeper. Two televisions in the room. A well stocked mini-bar and snacks, if needed. The common patio area had great views of Manhattan Skyline. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was a continental style.Only a 10 minute walk to the subway, with one connection to JFK airport, or to downtown Manhattan.
