Marvelous independent book store with a couple of levels and a very attentive and helpful staff. I get my online purchases through them and it is always hassle free.

Sad to see what was once a popular bookstore get deeply involved in politics. They should probably tell their customers that St Louis has quite a large Jewish population, and upsetting them is not a wise business move.

Visited the area for our anniversary and looked up independent book stores. The ladies at the counter were so nice! The store was very clean, very well lit, and very easy to navigate. We will definitely be back!

I had heard Holland (the owner) on the What Should I Read Next? podcast and was very impressed. The knowledge of books and her descriptions of the store lead me to put this shop on my must visit list when in St. Louis last week. I was on a girls' get-away with a group of friends and we all were enchanted, even our one non-reader. It's packed full of books and bookish gifts and has a great atmosphere to just hang out and peruse some of the great finds. Staff recommendations abound and the people working in the store are personable, knowledgeable, and very very helpful. I'll definitely be back!
