I started attending Fellowship Church in 1998. I was going through a divorce and was a single parent. This church, Ed Young and the staff changed my life. I was in a bad place, and going to Fellowship helped me immensely. Ed’s messages spoke right to my heart and I became a born again Christian. Ed has a way of applying the Bible to today’s world and gives great examples. He is an AMAZING communicator. Despite the challenging circumstances I was facing, I learned to trust God and felt JOY. Plus, I met so many friends at Fellowship who were on the same path that I was on. At Fellowship, we do life together. So, because of Ed’s messages, the awesome staff and volunteers and the friends I still have after 20 plus years, I would definitely recommend Fellowship and would give it 100 stars if I could.

I went to hear Dr. Phil last week. I am confined to a wheelchair. When I came into the sanctuary I was greeted by a lady usher. She told me and my wife that there was some seating available for wheelchairs up towards the front. I started to go down the front when a man usher yelled at me and said Whoa, where do you think you're going? I said that the a lady usher told me that there was some seating for wheelchairs up towards the front. The man usher said No, there is not. We stick the wheelchair people back here in the back behind the big camera. What is it with these mega churches using the same phrase that We stick the wheelchair people in the back? After that encounter I did not feel welcome at Fellowship Church. After we went to the back of the church and got situated the same usher man stuck a Kentucky Fried Chicken look alike bucket in my face to give money. I just passed it to the next person. You want my money but you will not allow me to sit where I can see the person actually speaking. Instead you stuck me behind a big camera where someone is standing in front of my view. No, thank you! I will visit another church where Jesus actually attends.

When we came in we were greeted by friendly people who were sure to direct us to where to get our children registerd in the FC Kids. My children (twin 9 year olds) absolutely loved the program and left with a gift bag, which included a T-shirt that they still wear. The service was a little bit odd. The worship was amazing and had high production quality. It felt like a worship Christian rock concert. Then the sermon on a big screen and everyone watched together. It was odd to me. There was a pastor who gave local announcements and introduced the sermon and another one on stage who spoke afterwards to offer for people to speak to local pastors with prayer requests. The people were fantastic. If you can get over the way the sermons are delivered - it may be the church for you. :)

I was invited to the church about 15 years ago as part of a production in Texas with the working title, The NBC Movie starring Julia Roberts. I met Jason Alexander from Seinfeld and Valerie Bertinelli at the church. It was an interesting place, but I did feel that there were some things they were doing while I was there that were just because I was an unscripted actor playing a role in their segment of the movie.
