tripadvisori'd give this store 0 stars if i could. i went to go and purchase a small turquoise pendant and it was marked as $24. i thought it was reasonable for a small gem, maybe a little overpriced but it was cute and what i was looking for. at the register it rang up as $38. ridiculous. we asked why the price was marked incorrectly and they explained they needed to raise prices and are working on marking the prices on the shelves correctly. understandable with the times, but you should honor the price as marked on the shelf. bad way to run a business. we left empty handed and shocked at such poor customer service. also, the lady working tried to sell us a $10 chain saying it was hypoallergenic and lasts for years. a man working then interrupted and said it's okay for a $10 chain yikes, clearly the staff needs to be on the same page about the products they are selling. overall, extremely disappointed. would NOT recommend.
MoreIf I could rate this Arvada store with 0 stars, I would. Here's the facts: I purchased 4 small glass bottles of turquoise on Jan. 21st for an inlay wood project. After inspecting several small pieces, it was clear that what was in the containers was a mix of turquoise colored shards. On Feb. 6, with receipt in hand, I went to return the bottles and was told there was no return on jewelry. Well...first, I was not returning jewelry, second, the product wasn't turquoise, third, there was no return policy on the receipt or at the register, fourth, there was no verbal warning at the time of purchase about returns. I was given an offer for a store credit - which I declined because I didn't want to do further business with an store with opaque business practices.
MoreTraveled to Colorado with my mother to visit my son that lives in Denver and on the way to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park we made a side trip to Longmont to visit the Crystal Joys for their opening day. It was bright, beautifully decorated and the prices were great. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The store is partially staffed with those that are developmentally disabled and are very proud of their work, happy to show you how they create some of their treasures. It was such a joy, no pun intended, to visit a lovely store and walk away with crystal treasures.
MoreCrystals, jewelry, furnishings, objects for conversation, including huge open amethyst geodes certainly catch your eye while passing by! This is downtown Longmont’s rock and mineral shop.
MoreI was attracted by their beautiful display of rocks and crystals. Inside I found people with developmental disabilities making the most beautiful jewelry with these natural stones. Couldn't help but SPLURGE o some new items!!
