tripadvisorIt was OK for just our overnight stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was a very hot afternoon when we checked in. We went to our room overlooking the pool and noticed some people who had been swimming were out of the pool and it was being cleaned. When the cleaners left, we went down to the pool to swim. It was locked and we were told it would be opened back up in about 2 hours (turned out to be more like 3) because they had to shock it! Really?!? You clean the pool in the middle of a very hot afternoon and keep it closed until at least 6pm? Unacceptable! The breakfast was just OK. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffle machine, very little bread choice, yogurt and cereal. For the price, I can't complain too much, but I sure would've liked to cool off in the pool.
MoreWe stayed at this hotel for the NCAA tennis tournament. It was awful. When my partner went to unfold the sofa bed, a roach ran out. There were oiled sheets full of popcorn. The mattress on the sofa bed was stained and soiled. He went down to get clean sheets, and when we unfolded them, they were ripped. It was so cramped on the One Bedroom Suite (THAT IS A JOKE) that you could not walk to one side of the bed. The bathtub was awful and needs replacing. It was horrible.

MoreI booked this place because the price was reasonable and it was rated highly on TripAdvisor. The first room I had had a broken lock/latch and as a single female, I didn't feel comfortable with that. The room smelled musty and smokey. I requested another room. The front desk gent was very quick and brought me keys for another room. That room, unfortunately also had an overwhelming musty smokey odor. I figured all the rooms were in the same condition. The towels had stains on them and some of them had been very worn with much of the terry cloth rubbed away. I couldn't get to sleep because I'm highly allergic to smoke and I was so stuffed up I could barely breathe. I called the front desk at midnight and said that I could not stay another night. It's still pending but hopefully they won't make me pay for the second night. I got up in the middle of the night to go to the restroom and there was a roach in there. I was on the second floor. The people in the room above me were up late walking loudly, not the hotels fault but it just added to the discomfort of this place. The room was spacious and the AC worked well but I had booked a king size bed and both rooms only had a queen. The hair dryer was precariously hanging off a nub from something that was previously mounted and didn't work for what was currently there. The staff was nice enough but this place is so run down and creepy, I would not suggest staying here.I ended up going to the Hampton Inn a couple of buildings over for a very comfortable stay for only $20 more. BTW, my clothes smelled of smoke when I opened up my bag at my new hotel. Gross.
MoreThe hotel is really aged. We had to change rooms because the first one wasn't clean, including the sheets. The next room we moved to was clean but the towel rack was damaged and hanging off the wall. The toilet knobs were rusted below the seat. Several screws in the sheetrock were rusted and showing. The sink being inside the room rather than in the restroom was odd.
