Reviews
tripadvisorStayed two nights while attending Baylor Orientation and dropping my student off for line camp. It’s a 10-minute drive from campus by local roads or the highway. The motel is bare bones, with large, clean rooms that have musty wood furniture. The finish and fixtures are not sleek like in a hotel, but the beds are comfortable, towels soft, the space is large - including a big bathroom. There is a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, a place to hang clothes, and they even gave us fresh towels and provided room service while we were out, which hotels don’t do anymore. We had two quiet and comfortable night’s sleep here. We had no issues with people living in the motel or loud neighbors. It was calm and there were other folks staying overnight both nights, who kept to themselves. For an affordable trip, this is a great option if you have a quick visit with plans in Waco.
MoreVery clean. Friendly and try hard to please. Convenient and safe location. Parking next to room and many restaurants and shopping nearby. We will return when in Waco.
MoreFirstly, I never try to leave a negative review here because we are business owners ourselves in a different state and understand ratings are super important. However, this warranted one. We had initially booked with the hotel and was told there was a breakfast and when we went to check in the attendant just scoffed and said we just put that there for bookings. There were people coming and going all night and a van that sat running outside our door for at least two hours past 2am with people going in and out and cars coming and going. Several folks leaving rooms in the middle of the night looked highly intoxicated or drugged up. We felt INCREDIBLY UNSAFE. Then while checkout was at 11:00AM, they came banging on the door at 10:30 telling us we had to get out or they would charge us AN ADDITIONAL NIGHT. We arrived at 2AM after a long drive and had asked for a bit of courtesy time after checkout and they said ‘we do no courtesy. You pay for your night and then you leave when we say’. There are so many better affordable options to stay in Waco. DO NOT make the mistake we did!!
MoreThe rooms are clean, property is well maintained, and the staff has been very helpful to me and my family. If you are looking for a good value especially on busy Baylor weekend, this is a good place to stay. We also like that La Fiesta is next door serving good mexican food and nice sports bar with all the game on.
MoreRead the reviews on TA and decided the location and price was worth trying this motel in Waco. Checked in and found a roach on my floor and was a little put off by the other residents lurking about their open doors. When I returned that evening, heard people yelling at the coke machine and closed my door. At 3 a.m. was awakened to yelling in the next room and a woman screaming help me, help me. The police were called but I felt VERY unsafe and checked out in the morning. On the plus side the towels were not scratchy and the sheets were good.
