tripadvisorGreat place to have your inner artist let out and have some fun with art. The place have different topics to work with and anyone can walk in and have their effort put in. When I went there, they were working with aluminium foil and it was a great experience.
MoreThis is one of the best places in Houston to see and experience contemporary art. It is a small space in the museum district that specializes in new visual, performing and literary art. They always have somethings awesome going on. Whether it be an ongoing exhibition, or a one time performance, it never fails to be more than I could ever expect. As an example, the last exhibition I visited was a video installation by transgendered Asian-American artists Wu Tsang and boychild. I can't even describe how awesome it was. If you are into cutting edge, fresh, and sometimes even provocative art (which is what I enjoy), DiverseWorks artspace is a must when visiting Houston.
