There are different types of "representation" that may be offered by other real estate companies. However, at back to basics Realty we believe that it is not typically possible to effectively facilitate a transaction without representing one of the parties involved. This would make the other party a customer instead of a client. We would then recommend that the other party gain representation for themselves as well, as that would be in their best interest. Yes, we could make more money by simply facilitating transactions and not representing either party involved. However, we feel that building a reputation of integrity, honesty, good business dealings, and sound moral judgments is more important than making a larger paycheck.
