I don’t like to write negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. The staff was polite, but unfortunately the bikes were very disappointing. The battery on all of three bikes died after only about 3 hours into a full day rental, cutting our ride short. The purpose of the rental was to enjoy time with my son, but instead he had to ride his bike without battery support for 4 miles back to the shop. When we returned, Stephen apologized, but there was no offer of compensation or real concern shown for the situation. What should have been a fun outing turned into a frustrating experience, and for that reason, I cannot recommend renting from this location.

We realized we had a flat on one of our bikes while camping at Anastasia State Park. This was the closest bike shop. They saved the day by fixing our flat on the spot! A big shout out to Alexis for saying she could fix the bike immediately.

First-class operation. Really easy and safe access to the beach and a long stretch of dunes and shoreline. The bikes are good rental quality. Not stylish, but solid. We had no problems with either bike and plenty of battery for our 3-hour excursion. The beach and dunes to the north are great! Our bikes did poorly in any unpacked sand, but there is plenty of space to play on hard pack. The staff is friendly and we got a personal briefing about safety and operating the bikes. We had to add another e-bike rental at the last minute, and they accommodated us with a smile.Anastasia State Park is about 2 miles up A1A by bike path or sidewalk. (There is a $2/person entry fee.) There’s also a back street right behind the shop that goes straight east to the beach. (You CAN go on the beach, as e-bikes are not motorized vehicles.) Be careful of people and particularly kids, who race to the water and back. You can go fast once you’re on open sand!!
