Every morning you wake up and go for your mountain walk. Up through the twisting trails, you pass grassy fields and pine trees, all still cast in the shadow of morning twilight. Wildlife rustles in bushes and cattle moos on the farms in the distance. As you climb higher, you find yourself out of breath. But, you are almost there. You reach the top of the hill finally and look out at the valley below. There you see your home in the distance, lit only by the light you left on by the porch. You try to make out other landmarks, but it is still too early. So, you wait... Finally, the suns peeks over the craggy peak in the distance and your valley home is bathed in the crimson and organs and seashell pinks of the morning light. Boulder is beautiful in the morning. Heck, Boulder is beautiful no matter what time of day it is. Day or night, the natural wonder of Boulder and the surrounding Colorado area lights up the world. You wish for a lot of things. One of them is that you were a good photographer so that you could capture the beautiful things you see on your morning hikes so that you could show them to your loved ones. The second is that you could capture your loved ones among the natural wonders you experience on a daily basis. Well, maybe you can.
