The hotel itself is fine. It's a pretty standard Hampton Inn, so there's not much I'd write here about the rooms or facilities, other than they are clean and well maintained.But I have to recount a story, and why I've come to rate this hotel. It was raining very hard on Monday, July 13th - a torrential downpour like you get in very humid locations like Houston. I needed to leave the hotel for business meetings and would have gotten soaked on the way to my car, which would have been a pretty unprofessional look for my meetings. I asked to borrow an umbrella and the hotel did not have any. So I asked if anyone had a personal umbrella - I would go to my car and then drive it back (as the front of the hotel is covered). Quwanda Forest, who is the Sales Manager, came over to me and said she would help by getting me an umbrella from her car's trunk. But to get there of course she would get wet! I told her not to worry about it, but she didn't listen and instead put her coat over her head and ran out in the rain to get the umbrella for me. Only it turns out she didn't have one! So when she realized that, she got in her car, drove to the covered front of the hotel and told me to get in and she would drive me to my car. My car which was probably only about 50 feet away. She did just that. She dropped me off and I got just slightly wet running between her car and mine.I wanted to write a note because this was so far above and beyond. It would have been easy for the employees to dismiss me and tell me they couldn't help. But Quwanda went out of her way to help, getting herself soaked in the process. It is the type of thing that is memorable - simply exceptional customer service. Bravo Quwanda and Hampton Inn. I will be returning.

I travel a lot because of my business and stay in many different hotels, but I found this one to be very unique as the Management is very caring and loving with lots of wonderful features and their hospitality is super exceeds my expectations. The staff is very friendly especially Sally in the kitchen. She went out of her way to ensure our needs. Credit also goes to the management Two thumbs up. Way to serve to guests

We have had a very positive experience at this hotel, everyone has been very nice and helpful. In particular I want to call out Meg. My wife is disabled and confined to a wheelchair; we wanted to use the pool as there are devices at pool and spa to aid my wife getting in both of them. When I approached Meg about using the devices I could tell y her expression she wasn’t familiar with them. But fear not, she called the maintenance guy who had left for day and he told us where to find batteries and keys in maintenance room, no simple task, and then take them outside to test them out, after tearing off the device covers! Meg was unflappable, spent 15-20 minutes with me, and my wife had a great time. Meg went up and beyond to make sure we had a very positive experience!
