Reviews
tripadvisorJust a wonderful stay with wonderful people
MoreIn town for meetings and this is my go-to hotel. In the heart of West Knoxville but a hidden gem. When I am not working I can walk to a few different restaurant options. Clean and comfortable with a staff that goes above and beyond.
MoreRoom was so clean. Everyone was very nice and the breakfast and dinner was good and such a good convenience. Will definitely stay again!
MoreThis is always my go to when I work in Knoxville. I’ve stay a lot over the past six years, through the good times and not so good times. The staff are always accommodating, courteous, and kind they seem to even go out of their way to make me feel like I’m their only “guest”. There are a few I would like to call out for exemplary service, Robbie Akers from over in Kingston keeps the lights on, water running and HOT with plenty of pressure. Karrie as the AGM/Director of Sales, works hard and goes out of her way to keep the guests coming back James, Colby, Caleb, and Amanda rocking the reservations and keeping the front desk running like a well oiled machine and always up on the happenings and events in the area; and they even have a few tip on where to dine or get your grub on after they shine the light on the hearty and ever changing fresh breakfast 7 days a week and the Tuesday Wednesday “Social”. Speaking of the Social, dear sweet Sherry always hustles to keep it clean, interesting and refreshing every Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and if you have your ID and are of age and a guest at the establishment - will even serve you up a Fat Tire or Michelob Ultra - 2 drink limit to help knock dust out of your gullet; don’t be afraid of the fusion tacos as weird as they may sound. Housekeeping is always working hard to keep the stay clean, comfortable, and hygienic the allstar team for me this stay includes Stacy, Ashton, Karen, Hayley I don’t know how they do what they do but they do it, there are others but I forget their names at the moment. Mr. Ed Houseman, Chef, laundry I never know where he will show up next he is always helping somebody. Kat the Manager rules with an iron fist and is fit to Sit The Iron Throne; just kidding she has a stellar team and is rarely found in her office because she is out and about supporting her staff. When you can catch her has time for a quick chat and is always open to suggestions and I’ve not heard a hard no anytime I’ve had concerns, and action is almost always immediate; she even added a couple of potted plants and replaced the old benches in the entryway. These are the big reasons I keep coming back to the Staybridge West Knoxville. BTW, they are in the process of making some massive upgrades/improvements including new mattresses and couches in all of the rooms; I was okay with the old ones but, I must admit the new ones are to my liking.
MoreThe common areas and room were both very clean and quiet. The room was well equipped and the bed was very comfy. The location is great. It was tucked away from the main road which added to the quietness since there was no traffic noise. The staff, who were very helpful and attentive during my entire stay, was kind enough to allow me to stay and work a little after checkout time. The den area was a perfect spot that offered enough privacy to finish up some important tasks before I had to hit the road. My only complaint is that I couldn't connect to the WiFi so I had to use my phone's hotspot to work. In their defense, I didn't take the time to let anyone at the property know that I couldn't connect to the WiFi so they might have had a solution. The price was excellent for the service and cleanliness. I will definitely return for another stay when I'm back in the area.
