Every aspect of my evening at Roxy's Downtown exceeded my expectations. It's a unique and comfortable venue with enjoyable shows and good food and service. Perfect for an entertaining time.Purchasing my ticket was easy through their website. I was even able to select the exact seat I wanted. I chose on the aisle at the first level of counter seating. It seemed to me that every seat in the theatre has great sightlines to the stage, though half the folks at the 4-tops would want to angle their chairs during the performance. Nicely padded seats were good for the 3 hours of dining and show.Service was attentive and friendly. From the small, show-themed menu, I ordered a drink plus two snack items, though I could have built an entire dinner. The bar will prepare cocktails. House staff were friendly and welcoming. The cast and musicians were great; sound and lights were flawless. This was a small, professional production. The lower level behind the bar - where the restrooms were located - features posters showing the many productions of well-known shows they've put on here.I appreciated the clever use of space that was done to create a theatre inside this brick building. Street parking, as well as free after-hours lot parking is available. A small elevator provides accessibility for those who need; there are a lot of stairs to climb.I was impressed and had a great time. Roxy's Downtown doesn't disappoint. Go for a complete evening's entertainment.

We went last night and saw The Golden Girls. This is one show I highly recommend!! If you watched the show you know the characters well and these actors were spot on! I have never laughed so hard at a show like this. The staff at Roxy’s were awesome. A couple need to know things. It is upstairs so you will walk stairs but don’t worry they have a two person elevator if you can not! Main entrance is North side of the building up until 5 mins to show them it’s Douglas entrance. We parked on the north side and would recommend that. No there is no age restriction. We wanted to take our friends 15 year old daughter. She enjoyed it so much! Picking out a seat I talked to the wait staff after the show because my back was hurting from choosing the end of a booth seating. Staff says best seating is Row D and Row G. We had three in our group and chose the outside and corner. I do not recommend unless that’s your last option lol. We just ordered a pop since we had long drive home. They serve Coke products and reasonably priced. I would recommend the cheesecake. It was $10.00 but you got 4 little ones that were different flavors and so good. We also ordered a CHARCUTERIE ON THE ROX. This was good with the cheesecake. Love the fig jam. They played 80’s commercials during wardrobe change. We enjoyed explaining the Leggs commercial for pantyhose to the young one. This was a must show!

Nice venue. Very cozy. Nice atmosphere. Excellent servers. Great show. Well worth the price. Only negative was the food. Little selection. No bread with lasagna. Probably eat before we go next time.

The Roxy is an intimate performance space right off Douglas Street. It's cozy and unique with an accommodating staff. We saw the fabulous and always entertaining Karla Burns in a one-woman show about Hattie McDaniel, who was born in Wichita. Ms. Burns was strong of voice and totally in character as she portrayed the life of the first Black person to be honored with an Academy Award.
