I did a lap around this lake at night. It was a quiet area during the evening, but I felt safe. There were many tropical plants which surrounded this lake. I got some great views of the city’s skyline.

We walked past this lake whilst exploring St Pete and it was beautiful tucked away in the built up city. It reflected the surroundings as it’s name suggested and is well worth a visit.

Nice walkable paved loop in the heart of St. Pete with ducks, birds and even a little alligator. There is a plentiful parking around the loop so access should be easy. There were several folks running, walking and walking their dogs along the loop. The only two negatives are the homeless who frequent the area which would make me avoid the area at night and the construction going on in the area that isn't that pleasant to the eye.

Very pretty lake across from the shuffleboard court where a bride and groom, wedding guests, and even the homeless can hang out or catch up on sleep. There are ducks, too. Some do quack, but prior experience is no guarantee of future performance.

Take your time and enjoy the various views you are offered as you round the lake. This is a gem sitting close to the center of town and offers a feel from historic St. Petersburg.
